Full Steam Ahead! Kick-Off Meeting

Last 11 December took part in Braga (Portugal) the Kick-Off Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210 project Full STEAM Ahead!, a European initiative focused on improving quality, inclusion, and equity in STEAM education, as well as strengthening transnational cooperation among educational institutions and specialised organisations.

The project, coordinated by CIEDix, will run for 24 months and involves partners from Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Croatia, including educational centres from different levels, organisations specialising in educational innovation, and entities from the scientific field.

Full STEAM Ahead! aims primarily to design modular, accessible, and ready-to-use STEAM educational resources, based on active methodologies, hands-on learning, and the use of digital resources. The project places special emphasis on gender equity, promoting girls’ interest in STEAM disciplines through female role models and materials with an inclusive perspective.

This initial meeting marked the beginning of a strategic project that reinforces the partners commitment to educational innovation, inclusive education, and the development of key competences for 21st-century learners.
